Chapter History
A Progressive Sisterhood
Our journey and celebration in Zeta Tau Alpha began as collegians. The future of Zeta Tau Alpha depends on its alumnae continuing that journey and celebration. Established on October 15, 1983, the Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha is proud to be a progressive women’s organization dedicated to our Fraternity and community. Included in our sisterhood are several current and former national officers and recipients of individual state and national level awards. To view a complete list, see our Awards and Honors.
A Diverse Sisterhood
From new college graduates, singles, mothers, working professionals to retirees, our members represent a diverse population of dedicated women and community leaders advancing the ideals of Zeta Tau Alpha. Our members attended universities all across the country. They reside throughout the Tampa Bay area. Meeting locations vary from all parts of the Tampa Bay area and occur at least once monthly, with the occasional "pop up" event sprinkled in between meetings for common interest groups.
An Award-Winning Sisterhood
Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha has been recognized at the state-level as well as nationally for our outstanding service to the fraternity.
